Laurie Delk is like many really great creative web builders and designers. True assets that people like Laurie have are often hidden secrets.
I have made a living working on web projects since 1974 (it was called Arpanet) and am a cynic when it comes to web marketing.
Overpromise and underdeliver is standard for Web Designers. Well Laurie has a bad habit of under-promising and over-delivering.
What's worse is she never toots her own horn. Do any of you know about the SHTML coding that she uses to build her pages (in these days where java script is a plauge)? SHTML is much easier for search engines to read. That makes your website much more powerfully visable on the Internet. Does she tell you that? NO...it's a secret! SHTML It is harder to code as she is whacking away at her text pad editor (real code writers use text pad).
Does she ever tell you about the really neat stuff SECRET STUFF she is doing for you! NO! She is really terrible about telling you the real truth which is....... she under charges and over delivers! Look at the great code and color designs on the Distributor Rights Association web site that she did. The SECRET? Magnifico!

Laurie Delk is the most competent, knowledgeable and creative web page designer in the business. My business has done very well over the last 30 plus years, but I work alone and the amount of clients that I can work with on a service or retail level has it's limitations.
Before I had a computer, that I could go online with, I depended on Laurie Delk's expertise to take it to another level, which surprised me tremendously.
My thoughts always were, that you had to have that personal contact with people and she undoubtedly proved me wrong. I have received sales from people all over the world.

Laurie Delk is a member of our church, and several years ago asked me if she could do a web page for our church to help her learn how to do web sites. I said sure, and gave her a few things to put on the page.
She did it quickly, and I really liked it, but didn't think much about it. Then I started getting e-mails about people that saw the site, and how it helped them. Then I started getting people that visited our church and joined that first heard about our church through the web site. Now we have people that are wanting to move to our town and be a part of our church, that heard about our church first on the web site.

I have recently requested a logo design for my business. I needed several different sizes and file extensions (for wearing apparel and printed materials). I was given MANY great choices as well as some 'suggestions.'
I couldn't have asked for a faster turnaround and certainly didn't expect all of the choices in designs as I was given. Even after I 'thought' I had everything I needed, I still needed one more design 'altered' a little and it was done very quickly AND without hesitation.

I am so thankful for Laurie Delk's help.
I think that if I had the skills to do the work that she does for me, it would be worth while having her do the work so I can focus on earning money.
But, the reality is, I don't have a clue how to make the pull tabs, flyers etc that she does for my business. So I just call her and she does a good job.
I told her that I wanted a collection of products that among other things, potentially save my clients hundreds of thousands of dollars on their mortgage and electricity. She just took the domain, www.TheSavingsPeople.com and linked everything together for me on one web site. Then she made fantastic business cards, pull tabs, flyers and such very quickly and economically.
